On June 8, 2022, the Embassy of Hungary in New Delhi, as the country chairing the Visegrád Group, organized the first "VISEGRÁD 4 Student Virtual Fair" in cooperation with the embassies of the other V4 countries accredited to New Delhi. The event was hosted online by the Symbiosis Centre for European Studies (SCES) at Symbiosis International University (SIU) in Pune.
Hungarian University of Public Service (UPS) and the Indian Marwadi University (MU) signed a cooperation agreement in Budapest on June 7, for which the preconditions were laid in May during the visit Boglárka Koller, International Vice-Rector and Tibor Bíró, Dean of the Faculty of Water Sciences UPS.

The inauguration ceremony of Katalin Novák President of Hungary took place on May 14 in Kossuth Square.
On March 10, 2022, the Hungarian Parliament elected a new President of the Republic in the person of Ms. Katalin Novák, the first female President of Hungary. The Parliament decided by secret voting on the person of the new head of state, and after the announcement of the final result, the elected President took the oath of allegiance. The President of the Republic is elected by Parliament for five years. Katalin Novák will take up her office on 10 May 2022.
