At the audience discussion following the ceremony in Sri Lanka, both parties expressed their intention to further strengthen our existing relations. The President raised the issue of broadening the areas of cooperation, citing the possibility of defence cooperation as an example. In response to the question, the Ambassador explained Hungary's position regarding the war raging in the neighbourhood, emphasizing our unconditional commitment to peace, to prevent further war destruction and the possible escalation of the armed conflict. At the end of the conversation, The. President asked to convey his personal greetings to President Katalin Novák and to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

 

 

During the personal conversation with the President of Nepal, both sides expressed their intention to further strengthen our existing relations. The president drew attention to the strengthening of tourism relations. The Ambassador delivered the greetings of President Katalin Novák. He went on to say that the government of Hungary has offered 10 Stipendium Hungaricum scholarships to the government of Nepal, this agreement is under negotiation. This can open up further possibilities in the field of educational interactions and speed up cooperation between higher education institutions. The Ambassador also talked about the planned visit of Minister Péter Szijjártó to Nepal, which can be considered historic and aims to expand cooperation between the two countries. The President thanked for the information and emphasized that he intends to do everything he can to further strengthening of our collaborations, and expressed his pleasure about the expected ministerial visit.
