Hungarian University of Public Service (UPS) and the Indian Marwadi University (MU) signed a cooperation agreement in Budapest on June 7, for which the preconditions were laid in May during the visit Boglárka Koller, International Vice-Rector and Tibor Bíró, Dean of the Faculty of Water Sciences UPS. At the signing ceremony, UPS was represented by Rector Gergely Deli, while the University of Marwadi was represented by Dave Rhishikesh, Dean of the Faculty of Law.

This Agreement shall enter into force on the date of signature and shall remain in force for a period of five years. Its main purpose is to encourage academic cooperation through scientific activities such as supporting mobility programs, the flow of scientific publications and related information between the two universities. At the same time, it aims to offer a variety of training programs for MU and UPS students in all undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in all disciplines available at universities.

The agreement will form the basis for projects developed by other academic and administrative units for both universities, and will highlight the importance of public administration, international studies and water diplomacy between partner universities. The latter is the focus of the agreement, since both sides have identified a key element of cooperation in the field of water diplomacy and water management.
